Thousands to take part in Loch Ness Marathon events

Baxters Loch Ness Marathon The Loch Ness marathon will be held on Sunday
More than 8,200 people are expected to take part in Sunday's Baxters Loch Ness Marathon and Festival of Running.
Organisers said 46% of those to take part would be coming from outside of Scotland.
A new event added to this year's festival will seek to find Scotland's fastest clan.
People with surnames such as Cameron, Campbell, Macleod, Macdonald and Macrae were invited to take part in the marathon and River Ness 10k.
The Clan Challenge will be held as part of the Year of Homecoming Scotland 2014.

The race programme includes the marathon, River Ness 10k, a 10k corporate challenge, 5k and the Wee Nessie run for children.
The events will be held on roads near Loch Ness, the River Ness and Inverness.
